With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Anderson Owen of Clover, Virginia, born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on August 6, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Doc Anderson and Lillie Crews Anderson; her spouse Willie Green "Billy" Owen; and her nieces, Diane Floyd and Dana Anderson.
She is survived by: her son Ronnie Green Owen (Dana); her daughter-in-law Pat Yancey Owen of Scottsburg Eight; her close friends, Mary Hudson and Virginia Mae Anderson; her son Delbert Brice Owen; her great grandchild Madelyn Scott Owen; and her siblings, Nora Lee Francisco, Lucille Martin, Inez Newbill, Edgar Anderson, Ernest Anderson, Oakley Anderson and Glen Anderson.
In keeping with CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, mask will be required and the funeral service for will be livestreamed via Powell Funeral Home's Facebook page.
