He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lacks and Hallie "Sis" Lacks; his wife Mary Lacks; and his brother Carl Lacks. He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Tanksley; his grandchildren, Tiffany Shotwell (Billy), Franklin Edmondson and Hallie Tanksley; his great grandchildren, Skylar, Macy, Zachary and Fenix Shotwell; his sister Mollie Powell; and his nieces and nephews, Vanessa Faulkner, Renee Duffey, Candy Terrell, Tracy Hudson, Shanna Thompson, Steven Powell, Kelly Hensley, Kendall Lacks, Christy Lewis and Christoper Goff. He is also survived by his family and friends.
