She is survived by: her daughter Virginia Catherine Cobb Simmons of McGaheysville; her husband Everette Wayne Eye; her children, Melanie Renee Eye of Mt. Clinton and Justin Wayne Eye (Lindsey) of Hinton; her siblings, William Simmons (Heidi) of Broadway, Glen Simmons (Wanda) of Elkton, Vivian K. Hensley (Garland) of McGaheysville, Sandra Roudabush of Elkton and Sandy Sutton Simmons of McGaheysville; her grandchildren, Chloe Paige Eye, Julia Frances Eye, Myla Renee Eye and Jared Wayne Eye; her parents-in-law, Philip Keith Eye (Sharon) of Weyers Cave, Dana Eye of Mt. Jackson, James Eye of Rockingham, C. J and Mongold of Charlottesville; and also Tim McAvoy. She is also survived by dog, "Radar" and numerous nieces and nephews.
She had recently been sewing masks for others during the COVID-19 pandemic.
