He was predeceased by: his parents, Maggie Shaner and William Moore; and his siblings, Gladys M. Bray, Martha M. Coflin, Rachel Moore, William E. Moore and Howard Ray Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Marie King Moore; and his children, Leslie Moore of Lynchburg, Mervil Kowatch (Jeff) of Lynchburg, Sylvia Phelps of Appomattox and Page Garrett of Homosassa, Fla. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
