She was predeceased by: her husband Max Leon Pitts; her siblings, Joe Baker, Josephine Fleming, Naomi Wynn and Billie White; her grandson Scott Ward; her great grandchild Elizabeth Carpenter; and her son John.
She is survived by: her children, Maxine Carpenter (David) and Guy Pitts (Sherry); and her daughter-in-law Mary Pitts (John). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
