He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Slemp and Delphia Slemp; and his siblings, Tommy, Cecil, Alvis Slemp and Liza Jane Slemp.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Slemp of Darwin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
