He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Stanley and Lessie Mullins Stanley; his children, Tommy Stanley and Leslie Stanley; and his siblings, Harold, Tommy, Max Stanley and Carol Sue Stanley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Stanley of Clintwood; his daughters, Crystal Stanley of Clintwood and Kaylan C. Stanley of Clintwood; his sister Janie Phipps (Danny) of Clintwood; and his grandchildren, Rex Fleming, Hannah Stanley, Jordan Stanley, Nathan Mullins and Bryson Rose. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
