He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Rife and Lillian Mullins Rife; his siblings, Robert, Bobby, Buddy Lee Rife and Judy Daley (Jim); and his sister-in-law Nicole Rife.
He is survived by: his wife Doris McCoy Rife of Clintwood; and his siblings, Gene Rife of Clintwood, Danny Rife (Janice) of Clintwood, Doug Rife (Michelle) of Tazewell, Virginia, Brenda Stanley (Pete Ruchlewicz) of Arlington, Phyllis Green (Michael) of Summerville and Patsy Baker (Larry) of Clintwood. He is also survived by seven nieces and eight nephews; numerous other relatives, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Clintwood Lions Club, Clintwood Rescue and Clintwood Fire Department.
