She was predeceased by: her parents, John Barrett and Fallie Barrett (Riley D. Simmons); and her son Brian Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Riley Simmons, Jr. (Darlene), Bobby Simmons (Eileen), Debra Blevins (Danny), Jackie Samuels, Cathy Colgin and Gary Simmons (Terry).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
