It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carson Eugene Stanley (Clintwood, Virginia), who passed away on August 29, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Stanley and Bertha Stanley; his siblings, Dewey Stanley, Geoffery Stanley and Della Ramey; and his nephew Lester Stanley.
He is survived by: his wife Reba Stanley; his sisters, Jequite Faulk and Theda Pittman of Alabama; his children, Edgar Stanley of Mooresburg Tennessee, Dale Stanley of Clintwood, Virginia., Garvis Stanley of Clintwood, Virginia., Patricia Stanley Layne of Clintwood, Virginia. and Warren Stanley of Clintwood, Virginia.; his stepchildren, John and Tammy Robinson of Nicklesville, Virginia.; and his friends, Gary, Linda Baker, Jo, Paul Robinson, Randy Brady and Melissa Jessie. He is also survived by his twenty grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, and nephews.
