He is survived by: his wife Mildred Yates of Clintwood; his children, Michael D. Yates (Myra) of Clintwood, Trena Kay Dye (Tommy) of Abingdon and Halee Yates of Clintwood; his brother Buddy Ray Fleming (Marzie) of Clintwood; his grandson Jacob Yates (Kim) of Pineville, Kentucky; and his great grandchildren, Marcus, Braxton, Audrey and Bennett Yates. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
