She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Brooks and Agnes Honaker Brooks; her husband Nelson Pendleton; and her sisters, Frances Burhenn and Lucille Markum.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Pendleton of Covington, Scarlet Nicely (Todd) of Selma, Leslie Warlitner (Greg) of Salem, Stephen Pendleton (Beverly) of Eagle Rock, Eric Pendleton (Amy) of Waynesboro, Vincent Pendleton of Virginia Beach, Samuel Pendleton (Ellarie) of Roanoke and Louis Pendleton (Kim) of Clifton Forge; her sisters, Mary Barber (Bill) of Covington, Shirley Keith (J. E.) of Hampton and Velma Craft (James) of Covington; her grandchildren, Jonathon Pendleton, John Warner, Michael Pendleton, Jonah Dwiggins, Nina Quitugua, Kylie Duke, Christian Pendleton, Chloe Warlitner, Tommy Warlitner, Brayden Pendleton, Bryce Pendleton, Samuel Brooks Pendleton, Christopher Mayo and Donald Mayo; and her close friends, Sheila Hostetter Craft, Alison Hayes, Janet Stevens, Bobbie Sue Hancock, Faye Smith, Roxanne Smithers Nicely and Chris Fisher. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
