She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua William Layne and Fannie Bell Sweet; her husband Theodore Wilson Nicely, Sr.; and her son Steven Norman Nicely. She is survived by: her son Theodore Wilson Nicely, Jr. (Dottie) of Clifton Forge; her grandchildren, T. W. Nicely III, Billy Wayne Nicely, William Louis Nicely and Steven N. Nicely, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Morgan, Grace, Zack, Anthony, Kaylee, Marlie, Benson and Aubrey; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Austin and Brena; her great great grandchild Jhett; and her daughter-in-law Susie Nicely. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
