Virginia Crowder Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Crowder (Clifton Forge, Virginia), who passed away on February 16, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ralph Nicely, Sr. and Reba Conner Nicely; her husband Gerald Edward Crowder; and her siblings, James Ralph "Jack" Nicely, Jr., Ermon David Nicely and Barbara Nicely Hayse.
She is survived by: her children, Sarah Maydian (Curtis) of Eagle Rock, Kristi Martin (Jonathan) of Eagle Rock and Darrell Crowder (Susie) of Eagle Rock; her sisters, Alma Jean "Peggy" Nicely of Clifton Forge, Betty Bottenfield of Verona, Shirley McCoy (Cecil) of Millboro and Betty Lou Wall of Roanoke; her brother-in-law Jack Hayse of Covington; her aunt Ruth Hepler; her grandchildren, Matthew Maydian, Kaci Maydian, Trevor Maydian, Easton Martin and Amber Hickey; and her great grandchildren, Autumn Hickey and Raegan Hickey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Victory Baptist Church, PO Box 2, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
