She was predeceased by: her parents, Stonewall Jackson Humphreys, Jr. and Marion Leo Byers Humphreys; her husband William Lawrence Smith; her son William Lawrence Smith II; and her brother Max Leo Humphreys.
She is survived by: her daughter Maude Beth Haworth of Roanoke; her siblings, Candy Humphreys of Virginia Beach, Yvonne Rowan (Duane) of Salem and Stony Humphreys of Roanoke; and her grandson Walter Darvin "Wally" Haworth IV. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
