We bid farewell to Sidney Nicely of Clifton Forge, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 9, 2025 at the age of 84. Sidney touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney J. Nicely and Edna Newell Nicely; and his siblings, Charles Lewis Nicely, James Edward Nicely, Nancy Carol Via and Betty Lou Hartless.
He is survived by: his sister Nettie "Sue" Tucker of Hot Springs; his niece Jeanne Lindsay (Jack) of Hot Springs; and his close friend Marie Russell.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and at 2:30 PM. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
