She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Shackleton and Helen Shackleton; and her husband Millard Leroy Steele. She is survived by: her son Robert "Bobby" Swieder of Covington; her granddaughter Melissa Newman (Mike); her great grandchildren, Alex Newman, Hayle Newman and Michael Newman; and her close friends, Lisa, Guy Richards, John Rowe, Jim and Marlene Faidley.
