She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Emmet and Minnie Belle Riddlebarger Persinger; her husband Thomas Wayne Bush; and her daughter Sherry Spangler Clark. She is survived by: her children, Christie Spangler Perdue (Glenn) of Clifton Forge and Bernard "Tooty" Spangler, Jr. (Vicki) of Caroline County; her son-in-law David Clark of Iron Gate; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Walton of Selma and Helen Warren of Selma; and her grandchildren, Christopher N. Spangler, John Patrick LePard and Stephanie L. Clark. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, c/o Stephanie Clark, 484 Williamsport Pike # 129, Martinsburg, WV 25404.
