It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Lee Reed of Clifton Forge, Virginia, born in Hinton, West Virginia, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Riley and Virginia Akers Reed; his wives, Mary Mines Reed and Shelia Switzer Reed; and his children, Glenn Reed and Earlene Creamer.
He is survived by: his children, Raymond Reed of Catawba, Mary Reed of Clifton Forge and Laura Hise (Junior) of Covington; and his sisters, Bessie Tucker and Meldonna Justice. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
