He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart Lee Norvell and Mattie Mae Plogger Norvell; his siblings, Paul Norvell, Ruth Rhodenizer and Fay Ruff; and his nephew Charles Ruff.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Krimm Norvell; his daughter Tracey O'Connor (Jeff) of Clifton Forge; his grandchildren, Taylor Mejia (Vanessa) and Derek O'Connor (Emily); his nephew Michael Francis; and his niece Doris Rogers.
