She was predeceased by: her parents, Brown Wesley Kennon and Ella Mae Middleton Kennon; her former husband William Arthur Bird, Sr.; her husband Lloyd Lewis Parker; and her daughter Krista Bird Chaudoin.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth W. Bird of Covington, Ben Bird of Clifton Forge and William Arthur "Bo" Bird, Jr. (Anita) of Clifton Forge; her brother-in-law George Bird (Joyce) of Verona; her grandchildren, Julia Bird, Logan Chaudoin and Tristin Bird; and her close friend Carroll Rapp. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home (405 Alleghany St, Clifton Forge, VA 24422). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
