He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Edward and Lucille Haynes Harris; and his siblings, Juanita "Pete" Wright, Sarah Harris, Dorothy Keith, Phyllis Nida, Vernon Harris and Jerry "Tom" Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Dudding Harris of Valley Ridge; his children, Donna Hinde (Kevin) of Charlotte, NC, Sylvia Brown of Covington, Norman Harris, Jr. (Jennifer) of Daleville and Mark Harris of Morganton, NC; and his brothers, Gene Harris (Freda) of Covington, Rodney Harris (Pat) of Covington, Allen Harris of Covington and Gary Dale Harris (Susan) of Christiansburg. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Nicely Funeral Home (405 Alleghany St, Clifton Forge, VA 24422). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home (405 Alleghany St, Clifton Forge, VA 24422).
