She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lawrence and Laura Mabel Nicely Aldridge; her husband David Howard Carroll, Sr.; her daughter Tina Marie Carroll; her brothers, Clayton (Bonnie), Allen, Carl and Darrell (Alvin); and her grandsons, Barrett Caldwell and Chandler Simpson.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Craft (Buster) of Clifton Forge, Selena Liptrap (Ronnie) of Millboro, Jamie Carroll (Jessica) and David Carroll, Jr. (Missy); her siblings, Elizabeth Byer, Donna Brandvold, Peggy Brady (Mel), Charles Aldridge (Doreen) and Dennis Aldridge (Annette); her grandchildren, Dustin Caldwell (Amanda), Madison Carroll, Noah Carroll, Johnny Fortescue (Carley), Josh Caldwell (Natalie), Harmony Carroll, Whitney Lacks, Andrew Lacks (Nina), Tanner Lacks (Skylynn), Conner Simpson, Olivia Simpson, Laura Arends and Joseph Craft; her great grandchildren, Lillianna, Karson, Korbin, Milleigh, Magnolia, Clementine, Olive, Madelyn and Baker; and her close friends, Melanie, Amy, Chase, Penny, Darrell, Dorsey and Betty. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home (405 Alleghany St, Clifton Forge, VA 24422). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests the memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Horeb Baptist Church, 5742 Cowpasture River Highway, Millboro, VA 24460.
