She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Aaron Brooks and Ruth Adkins Brooks; and her brother James M. Brooks. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia "Patty" Stone (Bobby) of Clifton Forge; her granddaughters, Melinda S. Jose (Bobby) and Lisa S. Napier (David); her great grandchildren, Reagan Jose, Reid Jose and Henley Napier; and her sister-in-law Virginia Rose Brooks of Maryland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
