He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Merrel Heath and Ethel Gladys L'Heureux Christy; his wife Cynthia Jane Phillips Heath; and his brothers, Richard Heath, Ivan Heath and William Heath.
He is survived by: his children, Zelda Nichole Heath Salisbury of Clifton Forge, Johnathan E. Heath of Virginia Beach, David M. Heath of South Korea and John L. Heath (Tracie) of Woodbridge; his siblings, Sandra Heath of Massachusetts and James Terry of Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Megan, Anthony, Crystal, Cody, Michael, Nicolas, Madison and Rogan. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
