It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Ann Manner of Clifton Forge, Virginia, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Higgins and Martha Higgins; her brother Thomas Higgins; her sister-in-law Marguerite; her brother Paul Higgins; her sister-in-law Joan Higgins; her niece Margi H. Gasiorowski; and her nephew Andrew Roth.
She is survived by: her friends, Julia Bradley, Jean Clift, Josephine Dellinger, Lillian McLain, Libby Grimm and Davey Perry; her husband Jack Manner, Jr.; her children, Martha Ann Manner-Brown (Dennis) of Fredericksburg and John Morrison Manner, III (Meryl) of Oak Hill, Virginia; her granddaughters, Catherine Manner Roland (Austin) of Cary, Elizabeth Morrison Manner of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Anne Marie Manner of Washington, DC; her stepgrandson Michael Jason Brown (Julie) of Rustburg; her stepgreat-granddaughter Abigail Grace Brown; her nieces and nephews, Christie Roth Weddington (Tony) of Mauldin, John Roth (Sarah) of Aiken, JoAnna Roth Hare (Frank) of Belmont, Susan Roth of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, Marshall Higgins (Jane) of Richmond and Bonnie Carpenter (Tim) of Huntington; and her cousin Craig Hudson of Clifton Forge, Virginia..
