It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Nicely (Clifton Forge, Virginia), who passed away on July 19, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Adam and Laura Elsie Nicely; and his siblings, Mabel Aldridge, Dwight E. Nicely and Norman A. Nicely.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ann Martin Nicely of Clifton Forge; his children, Cheryl Mason of Charlottesville, Judy Hill of Clifton Forge, Kim Paraday (Jesse) of Little Elm, Texas and Keith Nicely of South Carolina; his siblings, Beulah N. Teaford, Carol Sharp (Elmer, Jr.), Luana Sharp (Larry), Larry Nicely (Daisy), Phillip Nicely (Bonnie) and Benny Nicely (Linda); his sisters-in-law, Heneriette C. Nicely and Glenda V. Nicely; his parents-in-law, Clyde, Emma Martin and Jewel Brandon (Jim); his nephew Tony Martin; and his granddaughters, Lisa and Brianna Gaghai. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
