He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Laughlin; and his son Russell Laughlin. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Reid Laughlin of Harrisonburg; his son Reid Laughlin (Sheila) of Massanutten; and his grandsons, Jacob Laughlin and Zachary Laughlin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
