We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2024, Jada Celeste Callender (Clifton Forge, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jada shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jada farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, J. Floyd and Louise C. Sorrell. She is survived by: her mother Ione Callender. She is also survived by cousins, other relatives, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (918 Church St, Clifton Forge, VA 24422). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Alleghany Highlands Community Services at 205 E. Hawthorne Street Covington, Virginia for a scholarship fund in Jada's memory.
