He was predeceased by: his parents, Carper Johnson and Elvina Irvine Johnson; his sister Elizabeth Johnson Jones (Willie); and his brother-in-law Tom Patterson. He is survived by: his children, Brian Johnson (Becky) of Covington, Catherine Chambers of Covington, Sharon Johnson of Roanoke and Valerie Marshall of Clifton Forge; his sister Margie Patterson of Augusta County; his grandchildren, Christopher Chambers, Timothy Marshall, Jr., Brandon Marshall (Jamie), Zachary Johnson, Hannah Johnson, Adrin Marshall (Samantha) and Cameron Marshall; his great grandchildren, Lucca Chambers and Emma Marshall; his niece Karen McCoy; and his nephews, Willis, Jeffery, Stacey, Kevin, Keith and Eric Jones.
