He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Nicely and Nellie Persinger Nicely. He is survived by: his sons, Tony Nicely of Clifton Forge and Steve Nicely of Ohio; and his siblings, Christine Nicely of Roanoke, Patsy Dobbins (Frankie) of Roanoke and Robert Wayne Nicely (Patsy) of Roanoke. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
