She was predeceased by: her father Lloyd William Showalter, Sr.; her husband Mongo Randolph Cook; her siblings, Marion Morrel, Joyce Adkins of Virginia, Harriet Faye Showalter, Ray Dean "Preach" Showalter, Lloyd William "Bush" Showalter, James Earl Showalter and Eric Homer Showalter; and her son-in-law Wesley L. Snead, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra C. Snead of Clifton Forge, Tami C. Ricketts (Scott) of Richmond and Leigh C. Blevins (Jeff); her sister-in-law Beverly Roberts of Moneta; her grandchildren, Heather S. Hogan, Jill S. Wheelin, Laura Ricketts, Taylor Ricketts, Joey Blevins and Matt Blevins; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Abby, Brady, Mason, Lily, Madison and Lincoln. She is also survived by one great grandchild.
