He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Imojean Carmichael Persinger; and his sister Mary Persinger Harlow. He is survived by: his daughters, Annie Ewoldt (Todd) of Knoxville, TN, Debbie Shuart (Harold) and Rich Patch; his sister Reba Cartwright of Covington; his grandchildren, Sarah Brittingham, Emily Hoban, Nathan Shuart and Max Ewoldt; his great grandchild Ethan Wilson; and his friend Carrol Savelle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
