She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hamilton Jones and Bettie Ann Simmons Jones; her husband Loyd Elwood Helmintoller; and her daughter Patty Dawn Helmintoller Seibel. She is survived by: her children, Sherry McCoy (Robert) of Roanoke, Alvin Helmintoller of Glen Wilton and Wayne Lindsay (Brenda) of Iron Gate; and her grandchildren, Traci Spencer, Melinda Hinkle, Josh Lindsay, Terry Windsor (Rebecca), Michael Seibel (Maggie) and Jessica LeeAnne Lee. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and two nephews.
