He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlous Ray "Old Man" Nicely and Bonnie Elise Williams Nicely; and his wife Diane Lynn Perdue Nicely. He is survived by: his children, Jodie Woods of Buchanan and Brandie Nicely of Troutville; his siblings, C. R. Nicely (Donna) of Clifton Forge and Cheryl Nicely (Kim Pitts) of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Krystal Hallman, Daryl Hallman, Levi Holdren and Jakari Nicely; his great-nephews, Dalton Nicely of Daleville, Ethan Nicely of Clifton Forge and Caden Nicely of Clifton Forge; and also Charles Roscoe Nicely. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
