She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl T. Jens and Louise Tichler Jens; her husband Dr. William Everett Boyd, Sr.; and her brothers, Eric F. Jens and Karl T. Jens, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Susan Leigh Boyd Moore (Lee) of Richmond and Dr. William E. "Bill" Boyd, Jr. (Lorri) of Clifton Forge; her grandchildren, Kevin T. Boyd, Melanie Ann Boyd, Andrew Everett Boyd, Adrianna Moore and Sam Moore; and her great grandchildren, Jace Boyd, Zoe Boyd, Daisy Maria Boyd and Riley Boyd. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
