He was predeceased by: his wife Lois M. Terry; his siblings, Henry Terry, Louis Terry and Lucille Farley; and his parents, Calvin Terry and Annie Newell Terry.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Ray Terry Sr., Pam, Steven Terry, Donna and Robie Tucker; his grandchildren, Mikie Terry Jr. (Nikki), Travis Terry, Chris Tucker, Beth, Daniel Tucker, Kevin Counts, Renee, Steven Terry Jr., Amber Hurt and Andrew; his niece Muzzie Long; his close friends, Brandi Plott, Edith Fowler, Donna Talbert, Helena and Paul Catron; and his pet Sandy Dee. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donations in Mr. Terry's name be made to Mountain Regional Hospice at P.O. Box 637 Clifton Forge, VA 24422 or to the Curtis A. Smith Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1033 at P.O. Box 416, Covington, VA 24426.
