He is survived by: his significant other Dorothy Lee Sampson; his children, Melissa, Deborah McDonald, Sandra McDonald, Lynda McDonald, Christopher Sampson and Robert "Bobby" McDonald (Sandy); his grandchildren, Margaret, Melissa, Rocky, Donald, Cane and Daniel; his great grandchildren, William, Tyler, Weston, Allison, Owen Joseph and Samantha; his great great grandchildren, Amir, Colin, Colby and Bryan, Jr.; and his close friends, Terry Sutherland and Melvin Beckelheimer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home (405 Alleghany St, Clifton Forge, VA 24422).
