She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Lewis Hayslett, Sr. and Vera Hodges Hayslett (Boyd); her husband Kenneth Cesslar Dunbar, Jr.; her son Kenneth Wayne Dunbar; and her brothers, Lewis Hayslett, Steven Boyd and Walter Boyd.
She is survived by: her stepfather John Samuel Boyd, Sr.; her daughters, Brenda Dunbar of Clifton Forge, Kathy Dunbar of Clifton Forge, Tina Dunbar of Clifton Forge, Treva Morris (Doug) of Selma and Sally Broughman (Raymond) of Low Moor; her siblings, Jenny Harlow of Clifton Forge, Denise Linkenhoker of Troutville, Linda Gale McGraw of Roanoke, Patricia Brogan (Norman) of Fincastle, Joyce Wilson (Donnie) of Goodview, Doris Myers of Bedford, Johnny Boyd of Roanoke, Gilbert Boyd (Madonna) of Roanoke, Elwood Knick (Jean) of Clifton Forge, Freddie Hipes of Greenville and Elvin Nicely (Tamara) of Richmond; her grandchildren, Justin Dunbar (Susan), Jessie Morris (Jennifer), Kristal Dunbar (Steve), Kimberly Dunbar, Brittany Dunbar, Katie Dunbar, Jared Caldwell (Lelah) and Camryn Nicely (Jordan); her stepgrandson Phillip; her great grandchildren, Damien, Daxton, Carli, Ali, Whitney, Adam, Steve, Jennifer, James and Tesla; and her close friend Jane Lyle. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
