She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Herman Gibson and Rose Leola Lamb Gibson; her husband Joel Kent Mattox; and her grandson Hunter Gage Mattox. She is survived by: her children, Cherie Mattox of Eagle Rock and Jay Mattox (Cordelia) of Covington; her brother Charles H. Gibson, Jr.; her grandchildren, Joel Hall, Hayden Catlett, Korey Mattox, Tucker Mattox and Leland Mattox; and her close friend Bill Patterson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
