It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ashley Cooper (Clifton Forge, Virginia), born in Low Moor, Virginia, who passed away on May 18, 2020, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Debra Kay Godfrey Cooper; and her grandparents, Myrtle Sledd, Lester and Virginia Hardman. She is survived by: her father Norman Cooper (Gladys) of Canal Winchester, OH; her daughter Ri'yahn J. Cooper; her significant other Florian Carl Ortiz; her sister Heather Lynn Phelps (Trevon) of Roanoke; her stepsiblings, Tinika Hutchinson and Donald E. Hutchinson, III of Columbus, OH; and her close friends, Tasha Smothers, Myles Parker and Vanessa Curtis. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.
