He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Fields and Eveline Price Fields; his wife Rena Mae Jones Fields; and his daughters, Alma Jean Fields and Margaret Louise Fields.
He is survived by: his daughter Lois Ann Fields Rhea (Burl); and his grandsons, Carl Harvey "Peanut" Rhea and Paul Madison Rhea.
