He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Kiser and Eva Blevins Kiser; and his siblings, Telsie Kiser, Inez K. Jessee, Moretta K, Roberts, Billy Sunday Kiser, John B. Kiser, Ortin Kiser, Marvin "Shab" Kiser, Fannie K. Mays and Rachel K. Walden.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Bevins and Pam Moore; his siblings, Phyllis Elaine Boone and Wayne Allen "Chuck" Kiser; and his close friend Donald Bailey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
