She was predeceased by: her parents, Brady Charles and Lydia Charm Combs (Crabtree); her husband Thurman Barton; her children, Billy Stewart Barton and Nancy Carol Barton; and her granddaughter Melissa Ann Artrip.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Rasnake of Abingdon, Kathy Fields of Castlewood, Mary Barton-Dean of Abingdon, Kenny Barton (Connie) of Cleveland and Stanley Barton (Lisa) of Cleveland; and her brothers, Robert Combs and Jerry Combs. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
