He is survived by: his wife Mary Evelyn Amos (Powers); his children, Wendy Bird (Jeff Boothe) of Lebanon, Cindy Rowland (Joe) of Statesville, NC, Sonja Amos and Jeff Amos; his grandchildren, Katilyn Vermillion, Derek Bird, Jesse Rowland, Lauren Rowland and Sabrina Rowland; and his siblings, Erma Hensley of Wake Forrest, NC, James "Curly" Amos of Max Meadows and Marvin Amos (Sandy) of Cleveland. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
