He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Foster and Leah Grace Foster; and his siblings, Ruth "Bootsie" Smith, Irv, Darrell, Dale, Doug and Alan Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann; his children, Stacy Sanders (Eric) of Bunker Hill, WV, Karen Hodgson (Randy) of Sarasota, FL, Scott Foster of Clear Brook, VA and Robert Oakley of Clear Brook, VA; his grandchildren, Robert, Melissa, Samantha, Jacob, Ashley, Tara and Kaylee; his great grandchildren, Ava, Arianna, Avery and Connor; his siblings, Mary DeNino (Darrell), Sharon McHale (James), Beverly Foster-Bills (Jay) and David Foster (Karen); and his pets, Gizmo, Coco and Cinnamon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and the American Legion.
