He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Turner Hitt and Pearl McDonald Hitt; and his siblings, Betty Ann Butler of Clear Brook, Gertrude Kelley of Amissville, Lee Hitt of Culpeper and Buster Hitt of Woodville.
He is survived by: his sister Elizibeth Jenkins of Culpeper, VA; and his nephews, Douglas Butler, Kevin Butler and Alex Butler.
