She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Smith and Alda Clingerman Smith; her siblings, Grace Clingerman and Bill Smith "Buck Shot"; and her nieces, Brenda Ray and Lisa Sipes.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald L. Hott; her daughters, Bobbie Jo Weatherholt (John Weatherholt "Spanky") of Winchester and Kathy Jo Hott (Lee McAboy) of Winchester; her grandsons, Zachary M. Weatherholt, Jeremy F. Weatherholt and Matthew M. Hott; her brothers, Dale Smith, Jimmy Smith "Red" and Lynn Smith; and her nieces and nephews, Angie Thomas, Linda K. Carbaugh, Tawana Kesecker, Tim Smith and Justin Smith.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home - Winchester (228 S Pleasant Valley Rd, Winchester, VA 22601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at the Shenandoah Memorial Park (1270 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA 22602).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to defray funeral costs to Jones Funeral Home 228 S Pleasant Valley Road Winchester, VA 22601.
