He is survived by: his wife Peggy Carolyn Orndorff Plotner; his children, Joy Bly (Kenneth) of Clear Brook, Tammy Dyer, Peggy Windsor of Bunker Hill, WV and James I. Plotner, Jr. (Melissa) of Gore, VA; and his brothers, Elwood and John Plotner. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and several step sisters and brothers.
