It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olyian Harrell Bullins Jr. (Claudville, Virginia), who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Olyian Harrell Bullins, Sr.; his grandparents, Pete, Rosie Bullins, Claris Doss and William F. "Buck" Robertson; his parents-in-law, Claude and Ruth Lawson; his brothers-in-law, Douglas Lawson and Terry Lawson; and his nephews, James George and Douglas Owens.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Roberston Bullins of Lawsonville; his wife Arlene Lawson Bullins; his daughter Natasha Bullins Handy (Timmy) of Mayodan; his stepsons, LJ Hutchens (Jackie) of Bonham and Michael Hutchens (Alyssa) of Walnut Cove; his grandchildren, Kalei Handy, Jordan Handy, Bella Handy, Miranda Hymel (Matthew), Dylan Hutchens and Layla Hutchens; his great grandchild Calliope White; his siblings, Jerry Bullins of Lawsonville, Miranda Nelson of Lawsonville and Susan Bullins Tucker (Kennan) of Danbury; his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Lawson (Janet), Odell Lawson (Penny), Johnny Lawson (Stephanie), Garland Lawson (Jenny), Donna Lawson, Lisa Hauger (Lee), Tammy Lawson (Ronnie) and Mary Parker (Freddie); and his nieces, Kayla Tucker Collins (Tony) and Autumn Lawson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
